Covenant Marriage Fellowship was birthed out of what we see as a need to strengthen and encourage marriage unions.
We have personally experienced in our 39 years of marriage of how God is able to take two imperfect individual people with different histories, different personalities, different opinions and make them one flesh.
We have the government and sometimes even the church trying to redefine marriage or even question if its even relevant today. The failure rate in marriages is staggering, its reported that only about 50% of couples who get married, stay married. Dr. Myles Monroe, a noted author and teacher, states that "unless you understand the purpose of a thing, abuse is inevitable." I remember talking to God and saying "if I'm going to be married to this woman for the rest of my life, I want to be happy in it."
We have found that as we search out God's wisdom concerning marriage that He makes the difference.
